8.6維護或適當增強社會經濟功能和條件

8.6.6 Management shall give due regard to the role of forestry in local economies. Special consideration shall be given to new opportunities for training and employment of local people, including indigenous peoples.

8.6.6 經營應適當考慮林業在當地經濟中的作用。應特別考慮為當地居民（包括原住民）提供新的教育訓練和就業機會。

可能資料的整備：

       森林經營應創造更多的就業機會，特別是為當地居民提供就業機會。提供相關的技能培訓，以提升當地居民的就業能力。

因此組織應準備以下資料：

1.         提供森林經營對當地經濟的影響評估，例如:就業人數、收入增加等。

2.         提供為當地居民提供的教育訓練計畫，包括:: 教育訓練內容、參與人數等。

3.         提供創造就業機會的相關數據，例如:聘請當地居民的數量、提供的職位類型等。

4.         提供社區參與計畫或程序書，說明如何與當地社區和原住民合作，共同發展林業。

       Forest management should create more jobs, especially for local populations. Provide relevant skills training to enhance the employability of local residents.

Therefore, organizations should prepare the following data:

1.         Provide an assessment of the impact of forest management on the local economy, e.g. employment, income increase, etc.

2.         Provide training programs for local residents, including: training contents, number of participants, etc.

3.         Provide data on job creation, e.g. the number of local residents hired, the types of jobs offered, etc.

4.     Provide a community engagement plan or protocol that explains how to work with local communities and indigenous peoples to develop forestry together.
