8.6.7 Forest management shall contribute to research activities and data collection needed for sustainable forest management or support relevant research activities carried out by other organizations, as appropriate.

8.6.7 森林經營應為永續森林經營所需的研究活動和數據收集做出貢獻，或支持其他組織進行的相關研究活動，在適當情況下。

可能資料的整備：

       森林經營單位應積極參與或支持與森林可持續經營相關的研究活動。應系統性地收集森林相關的數據，為科學研究提供基礎。鼓勵與研究機構、大學等合作，共同進行研究。

因此組織應準備以下資料：

1.         提供組織參與的森林相關研究項目，包括:研究主題、參與方式、研究成果等。

2.         展示組織建立的數據收集系統，包括數據種類、收集頻率、數據分析方法等。

3.                      展示研究成果如何應用於森林經營實務中。

3.         提供與其他組織合作進行研究的協議。

8.6 Maintenance or appropriate enhancement of socio-economic functions and conditions.

8.6.7 Forest management shall contribute to research activities and data collection needed for sustainable forest management or support relevant research activities carried out by other organizations, as appropriate.

Preparation of possible information:

       Forest management units should actively participate in or support research activities related to sustainable forest management. Forest-related data should be systematically collected to provide a basis for scientific research. Encourage cooperation with research institutes, universities, etc., to conduct joint research.

Therefore, organizations should prepare the following data:

1.         Provide forest-related research projects in which the organization participates, including: research themes, participation methods, research results, etc.

2.         Demonstrate the data collection system established by the organization, including the types of data, the frequency of collection, and the methods of data analysis.

3.         Demonstrate how the research results can be applied to forest management practices.

4.     Provide agreements to collaborate on research with other organizations.
