8.4維護、保護和適當增強森林生態系統中的生物多樣性

8.4.9 Traditional management practices that create valuable ecosystems on appropriate sites shall be supported, where appropriate.

8.4.9 在適當情況下應支持在適當地點創造有價值生態系統的傳統管理做法。

可能資料的整備：

       認可並尊重當地社區的傳統森林經營知識和經驗。鼓勵採用傳統的森林經營方式，以維持或增強森林提供的生態系統服務，如水源涵養、土壤保持、生物多樣性保育等。傳統的森林經營實踐應根據不同的生態環境和社會經濟條件進行適當調整。

因此組織應準備以下資料：

1.         提供一份的調查報告，記錄當地社區的傳統森林經營知識和經驗。

2.         說明組織如何將傳統經營實踐應用於森林經營中，例如輪作、間伐、火耕等。

3.         提供傳統經營實踐對生態系統的影響評估，證明其對生態系統的正面影響。

4.         提供與當地社區合作的相關文件，證明組織尊重並參與社區的決策過程。

8.4 Maintenance, conservation and appropriate enhancement of biological diversity in forest ecosystems.

8.4.9 Traditional management practices that create valuable ecosystems on appropriate sites shall be supported, where appropriate.

Preparation of possible information:

 Recognize and respect the traditional forest management knowledge and experience of local communities. Encourage the use of traditional forest management practices to maintain or enhance the ecosystem services provided by forests, such as water conservation, soil conservation, biodiversity conservation, etc. Traditional forest management practices should be appropriately adjusted according to different ecological and socio-economic conditions.

Therefore, organization should prepare the following data:

1.         Provide a survey report documenting the knowledge and experience of local communities in traditional forest management.

2.         Explain how organizations can apply traditional management practices to forest management, such as crop rotation, thinning, fire farming, etc.

3.         Provide an assessment of the impact of traditional management practices on ecosystems to demonstrate their positive impact on ecosystems.

4.     Provide documentation of collaboration with the local community to demonstrate that the organization respects and participates in the community's decision-making process.
