8.6.4 Management shall promote the long-term health and well-being of communities within or adjacent to the forest management area, where appropriate supported by engagement with local communities and indigenous peoples.

8.6.4 經營應促進森林經營區域內或附近社區的長期健康和福祉，適當地通過與當地社區和原住民的合作來支持。

3.         提供支持社區發展的計畫，例如教育、醫療、基礎設施建設等。

The impact on the surrounding community should be taken into account and measures taken to promote the health and well-being of the community. Encourage local communities and indigenous peoples to participate in the decision-making process of forest management to ensure that their interests are safeguarded.

Therefore, organizations should prepare the following data:

1.         Provide a community engagement plan or procedure that illustrates how to work with local communities and Indigenous peoples to develop and implement programs that promote the health and well-being of the community.

2.         Provide an assessment report on the social impact of the organization's forest management activities on the community, such as employment opportunities, income increases, etc.

3.     Provide programs that support community development, such as education, healthcare, infrastructure, etc.
