PEFC(Programme for the Endorsement of Forest Certification,森林驗證認可計畫)與FSC (Forest Stewardship Council,森林經營委員會),同為全球兩大森林驗證系統。
6.2 Management plan
6.2.3 Management plans shall include at least a description of the
current forest management unit, long-term objectives, and the average annual
allowable cut, including its justification.

PEFC
and FSC are the two biggest names in forest certification. So, what's the
difference between these two systems? Are they asking forest managers to do
completely different things to get certified? Let's dive into PEFC and see what
it takes to get certified:
6.2 Management plan
6.2.3 Management plans shall include at least a description of the
current forest management unit, long-term objectives, and the average annual
allowable cut, including its justification.
Preparation of possible information:
1. The management plan should outline the past forest management history, including the history of logging, afforestation and tending, protection measures, etc. Describe the current situation in detail, provide inventory data of forest resources, including: tree species composition, age structure, volume, etc., and describe the health status of forest ecosystems, including: biodiversity, soil conditions, hydrological conditions, etc.
2. Set clear, measurable long-term goals that cover ecological, social, economic and other aspects and are consistent with the overall vision of the business. The average annual allowable felling should be based on scientific forest growth models and forest resource inventory data to prove the reasonableness of the average annual allowable felling and harvesting. In addition to forest growth, factors such as market demand and ecological protection should also be considered
